Julio Mirás Castro

Physiotherapist

Degree of Physiotherapy and Master in Healthcare Assistance and Research from the University of A Coruña. Since 2006 he has been the co-director of Phi Fisioterapia Center in A Coruña where he works as a self-employed physiotherapist.

He is trained in Manual and Invasive Therapy in different approach concepts and works with a special interest in clinical reasoning, therapeutic alliance and patient-centered approach. Areas of special attention in their training are the study of pain and the underlying changes in the different systems related to it, as well as the different adaptations that can be addressed

Marcos Gómez López-Rioboo

Physiotherapist and Osteopath

Osteopath DO (Barcelona School of Osteopathy) and MROE. He graduated in Physiotherapy and Master in Healthcare Assistance and Research from the University of A Coruña. Since 2011, he has been the director of CEO Center of Osteopathy in A Coruña, combining his healthcare work with the organization of postgraduate training at the Escuela de Osteopatía de A Coruña. 

His main educational and clinical interests have always been linked to the neurobiology of interoception, nociception and pain; and how an approach based on manual interventions can be in line with the concepts of modern neurobiology.

René Fernández Santos

Physiotherapist and Osteopath

Degree of Physiotherapy from the Gimbernat University School and Osteopath from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona since 1999. He has more than 25 years of experience in a private clinic in Palencia, where he currently continues to direct Clínica René.

He develops his job based on a patient-centered approach that integrates the most current neurophysiology of pain. He focus his interests to training that addresses the mechanisms underlying pain, as well as the neurophysiological changes that underly manual interventions and especially circumscribed to orofacial pain. Passionate about knowledge, he has not stopped training and updating constantly combining tradition and innovation.
